and Happy 7-11 Day to all who participate!
Just a quick reminder that we will not be meeting as a group tomorrow as I
will be participating in the running segment of the Delta Lake Triathlon Relay.
On that note- let’s send out some GOOD LUCK & FUN VIBES to some of our teammates!
GOOD LUCK to Matthew who
will be participating in the 22-mile cycling segment of the Delta Lakes
Triathlon Relay tomorrow! GOOD
LUCK to Cindy who
will be running the Boilermaker 5k and GOOD LUCK to John, Matt and Dan (yes?) who will be running
the Boilermaker! This will
not only be Matt’s first time running the Boilermaker, but this will be his
longest run!! Trust your training and remember to enjoy every step!!
Even though we are not meeting as a group tomorrow,
those of you training for a race should still plan on getting your training
runs in this weekend (and you should snap me a photo, as well!) Plan for the
following mileage this weekend:
MCM: 10 miles
Sackets
Half: 6 miles
LOOKING AHEAD:
Tuesday (7/15): Meet at the Playground entrance of
OLP, ready to get started at 5:45pm.
Saturday Long Run (7/19): Meet at Green Lakes State Park at 7:45am for our training
runs. Plan for the following mileage (that will take us out of the park):
MCM: 13
miles
Sackets Half: 9-10
miles
*I will provide a bailout option within the route for
those of you looking for less mileage
Whether you are running a training run or a race this weekend,
please be mindful of your water/hydration and nutrition. You should plan to
carry more than enough of both to sustain your entire run!
