Saturday Run (12.13.25)

Hello
and Happy Friday, Friends!

What a week of crazy, wintery weather! I hope you all
are staying safe & warm!

I feel like it’s been forever since we’ve run, so let’s
change that! At Patty’s request, let’s plan to meet in the parking lot (linked HERE) at the entrance of the Erie Canal on North
Burdick Street.
We’ll start our warmups at 8:30am before
heading out to run 3ish miles through the Fremont Meadows and Erie Village
housing tracts.

It’s going to be chilly tomorrow so dress accordingly. I
would recommend dressing in layers with a hat or ear warmers, mittens, and a
buff to keep your neck and face warm.

You can find two links to the route map along with
turn-by-turn directions below.

3 Mile Route (12.13.25):

https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/6648569634/

https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/416225682

Begin at the Canal turn left on North Burdick St.

Follow North Burdick St. to Magic Way (to enter housing
tract)

Left onto Magic Way to Spring Mountain Dr.

Left onto Spring Mountain Dr. to Snowball Run

Right onto Snowball Run, follow as it loops back into
Spring Mountain Dr. to Magic Way

Left on Magic Way (exiting housing tract) to North
Burdick St.

Left on North Burdick St. to Summerhaven Dr. N (to
enter housing tract)

Left on Summerhaven Dr. N- follow as it loops through
housing development (will merge into Summerhaven Dr. S) back to North Burdick
St.

Left on North Burdick St. back to Canal entrance

Although the bulk of our mileage will be within two
housing tracts where traffic will be minimal, North Burdick can be a little
busier so please be mindful of traffic. Run on the left side of the road
(against traffic) and stay on the shoulders of the roads (Burdick’s are pretty
wide!) as much as possible.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Tuesday (12/16): Meet
in the parking lot next to Freedom of Espresso in Franklin Square
(115
Solar Street, Syracuse, NY
) at 5:45pm for our Annual City Holiday Lights Run!

Show up in your favorite, festive
attire for a fun (3ish mile) adventure around Syracuse as we peep at the city’s
lights and decorations! As always, this is a casual, easy paced run/walk- with multiple stops
for photos.
Please feel free to bring friends/family, but due to running
the sidewalks in the city at night, everyone must be visible and wear lights/reflectivity.

I cannot wait to see you tomorrow at 8:30 at the Canal entrance on
North Burdick Street
.

Have a fabulous afternoon and have fun to all of you
participating in the It’s A Wonderful Run tomorrow evening!!
