Saturday Miles: 12.27.25

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

I’ve watched a few weather reports and
(at the time of writing this), it seems that while the snow will have moved out
of the area by 7am, tomorrow- the bulk of it will be finished tonight. Provided
the reports are fairly correct (and the roads aren’t trash!), we will plan to
meet in the parking lot (linked HERE) at the entrance of the Erie Canal on North
Burdick Street.
We’ll start our warmups at 8:30am before
heading out on our runs.

In the event the weather is worse than
predicted and we either need to cancel or delay, I will email and post on
Facebook no later than 7:15am.

With the start of winter & Syracuse
Half training, I have prepared a 3 and 5-mile route for tomorrow’s run which are both linked
below (those of us with 6+ on our plan will add on at the end of the 5-mile route).
As usual, each route has 2 links, the first to Map My Run and the second to Garmin
Connect.

According to Dress
My Run
, the real feel temperature at the start of our run should be in the
low 20s (much warmer than my run this morning!) with a lot less wind than today.
I would recommend dressing in layers and wearing a hat/headband to keep your
ears warm, mittens/gloves, and potentially a buff to keep your neck warm (which
can also be pulled up to cover your face if needed).

LOOKING AHEAD:

Tuesday (12/30): No official group meetup

Saturday (1/3): Location
TBD (depending on weather) at 8:30am

Tuesday (1/6): Meet in
the LMS complex parking lot (off Hickory St.) at 5:45pm.

Please continue hydrating today and feeding your body carbohydrates
and some proteins as these help to maintain your energy levels during exercise.

Have a great afternoon!

Stay warm, hydrate, and I cannot wait to see you
tomorrow morning!
